What shape OK takes as we move forward remains to be seen... However, an emerging class of organizations called 'social enterprises' are evolving with infrastructure developing all over the world to support organizations of this sort. A social enterprise, in short, is an organization that generates social value and at the same time is financially self sustaining.

Whether OK eventually takes this form who knows. That said, since we will be working towards driving collaboration opportunities, we can reasonably presume that some of these opportunities will not be purely financially motivated and therefore will fall into the class of organizations we refer to as social ventures.
